Remote physiotherapy in Finland—suitability, usability and factors affecting its use

Objective To investigate physiotherapists’ views on suitability, usability and factors affecting the use of remote physiotherapy in Finland.Design A cross-sectional, web-based questionnaire study.Subjects Members Finnish Association Physiotherapists a private organisation.Methods The included questions physiotherapy′s suitability (0 = not suitable at all to 10 fully suitable) for different tasks (consultation, guidance counselling, exercise, assessment corrective act workplace), reason implement physiotherapy, how often is used stages process physiotherapy.Results response rate was 9.9% (N=662/6525; 76.1% female). mean ‘score’ differed from 7.6 counselling) 3.8 (corrective workplace). with least one year experience working reported that it better suited consultation, exercise (p-values <.05) than did those less experience.
